I’ve created this ecard yesterday but I am posting it today. Belated Happy Independence day to all the Pakistanis.I was thinking, Are we really free? We are bound by so many things. Freedom is a privilege bestowed upon the fortunate ones and with this privilege comes great responsibilities. I was reading this poem by Faiz and I ‘d like to share it with you. Hope you’ll enjoy it.
One day I was watching a cartoon show in which the main character Woolly was having a hot day. He came to know that sun was particularly bright and red that day and sweating.
So he filled a truck with lots of ice creams and went to the top of the hill to meet the sun. There he gave sun ice cream after which weather became pleasant. I wish things were as easier as it seems. This is unusually hot March and the genie of load shedding coupled with rising rate of dearness and terrorist attacks is not helping either. In these dark and gloomy days I had this news which made me happy and hopeful again. A short-stories book written by an 11-year-old Pakistani girl has been included in the education syllabus of Tajikistan. There was a time when man used to live in caves. With the passage of time man progressed and left the caves to live in houses made by different sorts of materials. if we compare the caves with modern day homes, we’ll know man has come a long way. But there are still people in the world who prefer to live in caves for their own good reasons. Have a look at the family in Kotli, Azad Kashmir living in a cave. The housewife answered the phone and listened with relief to the voice in her ear. “How are you, dear? What kind of day are you having?” The period of pregnancy can be frustrating and depressing for some women while others find it the best time of their life. Whether happy or sad it brings a lot of changes in life. It truly is a time for great self discoveries. As soon as I got the wind of me getting pregnant I was excited. what a relief! Pakistan is not in this list CPJ names the worst online oppressors. Booming online cultures in many Asian and Middle Eastern nations have led to aggressive government repression. Burma leads the dishonor [...] We have no time to stand and stare. |
