I publish only those recipes to my blog which I could test at home myself. In one of my previous post, Cooking on a Budget, I posted the recipe of Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Syrup by Tahir Chaudhary.
Today I am going to post the recipe of Sweetened Condensed Milk also by Tahir Chaudhary. Hope you’ll enjoy it.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup boiling water
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup plus 2 tbsp of powdered milk’
3 tbsp of melted butter
Method :
Before we proceed to the method, you’ll need to make your cooking equipment ready which are
- a whisk
- double boiler
To make double boiler, you’ll need to have two pans. One a bigger one and the other a smaller. Pour enough water so that it could hold another pan.
Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over 3/4 cup sugar. Mix well. Add 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of powdered milk and 3 tablespoons of melted butter.
Stir until dissolved. Let stand in fridge for a couple of hours

yes you can. i tried it with Everyday and Nido both. Both were good

@wrinkle cream I am not sure about that as I never used skimmed milk for this recipe.

I love condensed milk for making Vietnamese coffee. Good recipe, although I’m a bit surprised how much sugar is required. I guess that’s why condensed milk is so delicious.
