Decorating hands with Mehndi or henna is an ancient art. In subcontinent and Islamic world, it is an important part of celebrations, be it weddings or other festivals. Eid is coming and all of us women are on the look out for beautiful and unique mehndi designs to make hands look pretty. As I was looking for new and unique mehndi designs on the internet, I found many interesting facts and info on different websites. I prefer to apply mehndi on my hands by myself. Since I do it on specific occasions, I can’t call myself an expert. I was looking for new designs on the internet when accidentally  I stumbled on a great website. It actually teaches you how to apply henna designs. If you have a passion to learn this beautiful art with a bit of creativity, then you can learn it.

I am not going to post henna designs here as you could find plenty of them by googling. But I am going to post some of the videos of the designs here which helped me learn to apply my mehndi designs more effectively.

This is such a beautiful and simple design and you can apply it in a very little time.

Simple Floral Design

This is another simple design and a good way to learn henna design application. First draw the design over a piece of paper and then apply mehndi over it. It is a good exercise and really works.

  5. What I love most with all of the pictures that you have is the first picture. It’s just like a camouflage effect and the art was superb. I go with henna tattoo compared to permanent tattoo at least with henna, you can change designs and size as well.
