Cooking is no more difficult at all and making pizza at home has become much more easier. You can learn to cook pizza from internet, TV cooking shows, and DVDs. To me, the most difficult part about cooking a pizza is making its dough. Though there are pre-made bases also available in the market but once you have made pizza dough at home you’ll never like those ready made bases again.
Lately I have discovered a few websites that will help you in making your pizzas at home. With these websites on hand, you cannot go wrong.
Pizza Making
Dedicated to the art and science of pizza making, true to their words they have proven their slogan. On the website there are pizza recipes, pizza books, pizza glossary, pizza links and a pizza forum.
In pizza recipe section, there are, CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA RECIPES, PAN STYLE PIZZA RECIPEs, NEW YORK STYLE (NEAPOLITAN-AMERICAN) PIZZA RECIPES and THIN & CRACKERY PIZZA RECIPES.
On their forum you can participate in pizza discussions. There you’ll find news about pizza and calendar of important pizza expos, shows and other public events. Other topics include newbie topics, different styles of pizzas, reviews of cookbooks and restaurants. You can also participate in monthly challenge.
What’s Cooking America
Here you can learn about pizza history and legends. In one of its many forms, pizza has been a basic part of the Italian diet since the Stone Age. In Italian, word pizza means, a point.
My favorite recipes on what’s cooking America are, vegetable pizza with potato crust and white pizza.
Other than recipes you’ll also find pizza making hints and tips on how to use pizza stones, unglazed terra cotta tiles and how to clean pizza stones.
Recipe Pizza
This website is my favorite and the reason for this post. As I have mentioned at the beginning of the post I am a bit worried about dough. This website has solved this problem for me. The website is divided into four parts: pizza dough, pizza sauce, pizza toppings and other related topics such as pizza stones and the history of pizza.
In pizza dough section you’ll find detailed information about what kind of flour you should use, kneading process, using frozen pizza dough and baking pizza dough. You’ll know how to decide whether your pizza dough is cooked properly and different styles of pizza dough.
You must have a pizza story of your own, please tell us about it and share with us your tips and favorite recipes.

Cool websites. I can use all the help I can get. What I REALLY need is a live in cook!
