Everyday I see the images of flood affected people of my dear Pakistan, and they bring tears to my eyes. Today as I was watching TV while playing with my daughter, I saw the same images and I thought of the mothers and children stuck in this disaster. Lauren Gow at ask a mum? wrote, Nearly 53, 000 women affected by the Pakistan floods are expected to give birth in the next three months, according to the United Nations.

on September 11th, 2010 Eid Mubarik to all the Muslims of the world. Many of our Muslim brothers and sisters have already celebrated the Eid day yesrerdat but here in Pakistan we are celebrating it today.
Today I am going to share a special recipe of sheer khurma made mostly on this meethi(sweet) Eid. This is not the first time I am going to write about sheer khurma as I have posted a video recipe of it on this blog earlier. This one is a bit different and I am sure it would be much more delicious than the previous one. I have just come from the kitchen after having it cooked and it tasted heavenly.

Decorating hands with Mehndi or henna is an ancient art. In subcontinent and Islamic world, it is an important part of celebrations, be it weddings or other festivals.
