Sheer Khurma

As the name implies it seems quite difficult dish to cook. But for a medium level cook like me it is not that hard to make.Sheer Khurma is a Persian term, sheer means milk and khurma means dry dates.

Usually it is made on Eids especially Eid-ul-Fitr but if you like it you can make it whenever you want. Here’s how you can make it:

You can add different variations to it to give it a different taste. For a different look you can use multi colored vermicilli instead of regular ones.

The above recipe is of  sheer only so no khurma(dry dates) are added to it. To add them, soak dry dates in water for overnight prior to making the dish. When soften, cut them into long thin slices and add them before serving.
