This is unusually hot March and the genie of load shedding coupled with rising rate of dearness and terrorist attacks is not helping either. In these dark and gloomy days I had this news which made me happy and hopeful again.  1240937 52507065 thumb Silver Lining

A short-stories book written by an 11-year-old Pakistani girl has been included in the education syllabus of Tajikistan.

Sandleen Qaisar, currently living in Tajikistan, has become the youngest writer of the world whose book has been included to the national educational syllabus of a country and now her name is being considered for Guineas Book of World Records.

The author, presently studying in grade 6 at Dushanbe International School, was thankful to her parents and teachers for their encouragement and help in making her dream come true. “Writing is my hobby as well as passion,” she remarked.

She did her initial three grades from Berlin International School.

The girl’s proud father, Khalid Osman Qaiser, Ambassador to Tajikistan, said, “We must support our children in doing whatever they wish to achieve in life. We have done the same with Sandaleen, and she has brought us happiness.”
