To take care of your sensitive skin

  1. Take a lot of water. Include fruits and vegetables in your diet.
  2. Avoid spicy foods and caffeinated or alcoholic drinks.
  3. To remove makeup, don’t use soap and washcloth as they may easily irritate your skin. Use cotton instead.
  4. To exfoliate, don’t use a product that contains granules of any size. Try using a product that contains Salicylic acid one a week to keep pores de-clogged.
  5. Stay away from products that contain alcohol. Choose a product that contains natural skin soothing ingredients like aloe Vera, rose extract, green tea.
  6. For toners, select a toner containing witch hazel instead of alcohol
  7. Buy a sunscreen containing moisturizer that has zinc and titanium dioxide. These ingredients are not absorbed into the skin as are sunscreens containing the skin irritating chemical Parsol 1789.
  8. Before applying moisturizer, dampen your skin lightly with water.
