I was not into traditional meetha before I was on my family way. In these last days of pregnancy I’ve developed a sweet tooth for every sweet dish. Today I made zarda and enjoyed it a lot.
You can make zarda more colorful by adding different food colors like red and green besides traditional yellow.
With this method you can also make rice with brown sugar(Gur walay chawal). As brown sugar has its own distinct color so you don’t have to add food colors to it.
